This is the second PEACEKEEPING CENTER that I visited outside the PHILIPPINES. The first was the MALAYSIAN PEACEKEEPING CENTER last year. I admired everything especially the high standard and excellent quality of the facilities.
I was in the MALAYSIAN PEACEKEEPING CENTER for 19 days and 18 nights last year that I was able to closely observe and witness the highest standard of facilities from the BILLETING, MESS HALL and CLASSROOM. I had a great time especially at the ACCOMMODATION BUILDING. The rooms are comparable with what the 4 star hotel has.
Although we were at the INDONESIAN PEACEKEEPING CENTER for several hours only, we were privileged to visit the Office of the Commander (a 2-Star General) and also the office of the Deputy Commander (a Colonel). We all wished to have like that in the future, not only gigantic but excellently designed offices.
PHILIPPINES is one of the original or founding members of the UN organization. We are continuously sending troops to different areas.
The UNITED NATIONS ORGANIZATION was founded on October 24, 1945. Coincidentally, I was born also on October 24 after several years. My visit to the peacekeeping center reminded me once again of why UN organization was founded and why I was born, to help in the attaintment of WORLD PEACE.
The towering structures inside the compound are testament to the big intentions to attain peace.
The INDONESIAN troops being trained before deployment. They are not only sending troops, they are also sending EQUIPMENT for UN deployment.
The refreshing view inside the very huge compound of the INDONESIAN PEACEKEEPING CENTER.
One worthwhile projects at the INDONESIAN PEACEKEEPING CENTER.
This is being displayed at the CANTEEN, with high standard which is comparable to the ambiance in STARBUCKS, inside the INDONESIAN PEACEKEEPING CENTER.
LET US HELP IN THE ATTAINTMENT OF WORLD PEACE IN OUR LITTLE WAYS BY BEING A LAW-ABIDING CITIZEN AND BY LIVING IN PEACE WITH EVERYONE ALL THE TIME.
