Taman Indah: The Glimpse of Wonderful Indonesia

The park is similar to "NAYONG PILIPINO" in the Philippines. It is the WHOLE COUNTRY in one park. The difference is that TAMAN MINI INDONESIA INDAH has full scale of the real structures in the different provinces of INDONESIA.

INDAH (BAHASA INDONESIA) means BEAUTIFUL
TAMAN (BAHASA INDONESIA) means PARK

Although we do not have any scheduled visit to the place, we were just very fortunate that its location is just a few meters away and along the way going in and out from the hotel that was provided for us. 

Although we were not able to extensively explore the place, our travels from and to the hotel during our visits to the military camps, to the awesome restaurants and to other destinations passed by the TAMAN MINI INDONESIA allowed our eyes to scan the amazing structures. 

The park has also a MAP of INDONESIA on the ground just like what we have in LUNETA PARK or RIZAL PARK in MANILA, the capital of the PHILIPPINES.

It was actually during our travel to our very first activity in INDONESIA when we had the stop and spent few minutes in one part of the PARK. Thanks to our ESCORT OFFICER who allowed us to step on the grounds of this culture-based recreational PARK. The park is situated about 18 kilometers from the JAKARTA CITY proper.

The intricate and unusual designs of the "houses" will certainly catch the attention of anyone passing by the place..

It was another amazing JOURNEY for me. It was a mesmerizing moment for me. Admirable creativity. Gargantuan effort. Encapsulating imagination. Captivating structure.

You can walk, drive, take a shuttle or ride the cable car to explore the park...unfortunately we were not able to try any of them due to very limited time and hectic schedule. Maybe next time if GOD's will for me to come to INDONESIA...

The MINI BUS that brought us not only to MINI INDONESIA PARK but also to other equally interesting and exciting destinations all throughout our short but remarkable stay in INDONESIA is patiently waiting for us. The short visit to the park was a BIG BANG WELCOME for us! It was as if we already visited the whole of INDONESIA!

This is the famous BLACK STONE. Stories have been told especially from the Southern Philippines that BLACK STONE can improve sexual activities. 

There souvenir store provided us the glimpse of what we can buy in INDONESIA and bring back to the PHILIPPINES.
