TRANSACTIONAL VS. TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADESRHIP

Leadership and management can be classified into two; TRANSACTIONAL and TRANSFORMATIONAL.

TRANSACTIONAL mainly focused on accomplishing the mission or function or complying to directive or guidance. It is more on reactive or being passive. From the root word TRANSACTION, the action or reaction is per transaction or by activity.

TRANSFORMATIONAL is something different. Every activity or event is related to one another. It is making continuous improvement by changing the behavior and mindset of the people from complacency into passionate one. From the root word TRANSFORMATION, the action or reaction is not only directed to the accomplishment of a certain task or activity but to transform the organization to become more effective, highly effective and totally responsive.
