Do you have what it takes to become a PMA Cadet?

As a background before going to some details of the PMA examinations, I just want to share my personal experiences.
I can still vividly remember when I unexpectedly took the PMA ENTRANCE EXAMINATIONS sometime in September of 1990 at the UNIVERSITY OF NUEVA CACERES in NAGA CITY (CAMARINES SUR). Unexpectedly because during that time, I do not have any knowledge of what PMA is all about. Just one thing that attracted me to take the examinations, FULL GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIP! It inspired me to do my very BEST while taking the challenging examinations.
I was told that it was a very competitive examinations because only TOP 400 will make it to compose the PHILIPPINE MILITARY ACADEMY CLASS of 1995. The training would start on April 1, 1991.
After one month, I was informed thru a telegram that I was among the TOP 1,000 (ranked 82) from several thousands who took the examinations nationwide. We were instructed to report to the AFP Medical Center at V.LUNA Road, Quezon City to undergo comprehensive medical examinations, physical fitness test and interview to determine the TOP 400 applicants. We were also told to bring with us various requirements including clearances. After one week of stay at AFPMC, we completed the whole process. The board and lodging was free of charge during the whole duration and our transportation requirements were also reimbursed upon presenting the corresponding tickets and receipts. As applicants, we were already experiencing the life of FULL GOVERNMENT SCHOLARS.
After several months, I received another telegram informing me that I was luckily included among the 400 individuals who will compose the PMA CLASS OF 1995.
The rest was history, but I graduated in 1996.
