The province of BATAAN is located in CENTRAL LUZON REGION. It occupies the whole stretch of the BATAAN PENINSULA. The province has 1 component city (BALANGA) and 11 municipalities (Abucay, Bagac, Dinalupihan, Hermosa, Limay, Mariveles, Morong, Orani, Orion, Pilar and Samal). *I visited the places in YELLOW ink
BATAAN is bordered by the provinces of ZAMBALES and PAMPANGA to the north, faces the South China Sea to the west, Subic Bay to the North-West and Manila Bay to the east.
BATAAN is famous for the Death March and Bataan Nuclear Power Plant.
