Bagac: Home of Ambon-Ambon Falls

SUCCESS or VICTORY is sweeter if you able to hurdle seemingly insurmountable challenges along the way...
There are failures and disappointments in the process...
Sweat, blood, and pains are part of the arduous JOURNEY...
Descriptions of my unforgettable trekking experience
for about 3 hours to discover
the AMBON AMBON FALLS
in barangay BINUKAWAN,
in the municipality of BAGAC,
in the province of BATAAN...

It was actually part of the TEAMBUILDING ACTIVITY of the personnel assigned at the Office of the Air Force Adjutant....
My deep gratitude...our deep gratitude.... to the AIR FORCE ADJUTANT for conceptualizing and transforming into reality this REMARKABLE journey...

...feeling of overflowing fulfillment upon reaching the beauty of another wonderful gift from nature, after 3 hours trekking fueled by determination to complete the JOURNEY...
...we built teamwork for harmonious working relationship, we protected the environment and we discovered more about life...
...one TEAM...one FAMILY...one ORGANIZATION...one COMMUNITY...

This is the majestic view of the
AMBON-AMBON FALLS (60 meters high waterfalls)...

...alluring flow...elegant fall...refreshing dip...temporarily washing away the worries, concerns, issues, stresses, pressures, and problems of the world...
...what a remarkable ambiance...the sounds and caress  of rushing water accompanied by entirely refreshing environs, priceless laughter and caring presence...
...relieving tiredness...releasing stresses
and pressures of regimented life...

free and unlimited supply of "DRINKING WATER"...natural...clean...overflowing gift of NATURE...

...relaxing view of clean and clear water...

...the ACHIEVEMENT to reach this precious destination is PERSONALIZED, however as TEAM, we will continue to SOAR HIGH to create COMPREHENSIVE SYSTEMS, bring QUALITY SERVICES and BUILD LASTING LEGACIES...
...amid the surges of challenging situations, we will continue to rise above the waves of tribulations and hurdle the tides of wayward factors in order to successfully achieve the need to extend our quality services...
Having a high degree of difficulty to see the AMBON-AMBON FALLS, there are only few who can afford to hurdle the PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS needed for the trekking of about 9 kilometers of up the hill and down the slopes challenging JOURNEY...

But the feeling of satisfaction will overflow upon seeing the rushing waters from above...and swimming in the freezing water is a completely AMAZINGLY REFRESHING experience...

What I enjoyed most is the MASSAGE provided by the falling water...I stayed for as long as 15 minutes under the waterfalls being directly hit by the rushing water at the back...temporarily relieving back pains, and hopefully forever will be relieved to enjoy LIFE continuously and to do more for others...

Enclosed in the overwhelming happiness to witness the beauty of AMBON-AMBON FALLS are the wishes, hopes and prayers that the concerned agencies and entities will PROTECT this wonder of nature from DAMAGES due to man-made activities...

There is another waterfalls just 50 meters away from AMBON-AMBON FALLS which is the LIMUTAN FALLS...but we were not able to visit the said falls. There was a JOKE from locals that it is called "LIMUTAN FALLS" because you will completely forget to come back because of the high degree of difficulty of reaching the said falls. But I have another thing in mind, I will come back if given the chance because the CHALLENGING JOURNEY is totally compensated by the beautiful DESTINATION...

HOW TO GO USING PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION:(from  METRO MANILA)

1. Ride a bus (GENESIS BUS TRANSIT) at PASAY ROTONDA going to BALANGA CITY (BATAAN). The travel time is about 2 to 3 hours.

2. Then from BALANGA CITY, ride a JEEP going to BARANGAY BINUKAWAN in BAGAC, BATAAN. The travel time is less than 30 minutes.

3. Then you need to REGISTER at the Barangay Hall of Binukawan. You also need the services of the local guide since it is very difficult to pinpoint the exact way going to AMBON-AMBON FALLS by yourself. There is no single signage that will guide you along the way.

You have the option to go by either trekking (2 to 3 hours) or hire a 4X4 mountain buggy jeep. The challenging way is about 9 kilometers in distance. Along the way, you will enjoy the view of Mt. Tarak, Mt. Natib and Manila Bay.
