The month of MAY in the PHILIPPINES
is the time for festivals and other colorful events.
Although the actual parade happens every May 15,
the festivities happen month long.
There is a very slim chance for me to visit LUCBAN on the 15th since it is Friday. I also have limited time during the weekends since I am presently attending the BAHASA INDONESIA LANGUAGE COURSE every Saturday afternoon at the Indonesian Embassy in Makati City. Fortunately it was declared that our class this coming Saturday was cancelled, so I traveled and visited LUCBAN in advance.
It was Saturday, May 2, 2015...
Enjoy the story, the fun and experiences of my just another JOURNEY to LUCBAN...

For the past five years, I never failed to attend and witness the authentic amazing display of creativity from the people of LUCBAN during the PAHIYAS FESTIVAL.
I just do hope that I will be able to attend the PAHIYAS FESTIVAL PARADE next year.
Every Filipino should be able to witness the festival...
I am certain that upon witnessing the incredible passion embedded in the remarkable crafts, you will be TOUCHED and FEEL PROUD of being a FILIPINO...
I am advocating the PAHIYAS FESTIVAL...
