Bonifacio High Street: Wonderful Walkway in METRO MANILA

It was my first time to stroll along BONIFACIO HIGH STREET. Although I had been to other parts of the BONIFACIO GLOBAL CITY especially MARKET! MARKET! and SM AURA, I usually just passed by BONIFACIO HIGH STREET.

BONIFACIO HIGH STREET is considered the "HEART AND MIND" of THE FORT COMPLEX. It is  situated at the heart of BONIFACIO GLOBAL CITY highlighted by high-end restaurants, upscale stores, and creatively-designed structures along the stretch of 1 kilometer long and 40 meters wide walkway. 

It was one Sunday that instead of my usual travel to the beaches, mountains, waterfalls and other interesting places especially natural wonders in nearby provinces, I decided to explore "man-made wonders" within METRO MANILA. BONIFACIO HIGH STREET was my first stop.

During weekdays, I am almost exclusively staying within the four corners of an air-conditioned office proofreading and editing voluminous written communication or conducting and attending numerous conferences, meetings and other activities. Our outdoor activities during the weekdays include flag ceremonies, jogging, and drills which are still confined within the air base.

During weekends, it is the perfect time for me to travel to destinations that I never visited before. My own way of relaxation, and releasing stresses and pressures of routine activities, to live a balanced life and continue my numerous advocacy of protecting humanity and preserving the  environment by preventing hazardous and irresponsible human activities.

My exploration of the BONIFACIO HIGH STREET was equally exciting with my out of town trips as every step unfolded additional places to see and new discoveries to savor. 

As usual, I cautioned some smokers in public places and people who throw garbage anywhere. Good thing, I was not able to spot illegally-parked vehicles and other irresponsible acts.

It was Sunday morning when I came to the place at about 9 o'clock. The stores, restaurants and other establishments were still closed. 

There are only few establishments that are operating for 24 hours while others are opening early in the morning. 

So there are still places to go when you are hungry or thirsty even when you visit the place early in the morning or late in the evening. 

As I continued the JOURNEY, I discovered at the end of the HIGH STREET the two familiar structures, the MARKET! MARKET! MALL and the SM AURA. 

Based on my researches, it is more FUN to go to the place later in the afternoon until night time since the establishments are already open and there are also lots of fun activities.

The hanging or suspended BOULDER is one of the main attractions...

Perfect to stroll...

Captivating environment..

Spacious pathways...

Overflowing display of creativity...

Amazing vision of the developer...

Creative structures are built and excellent facilities are provided...

 The place is well-maintained...

It is certainly a NATURE within the CITY...

If you are planning to unwind but you cannot leave METRO MANILA or nearby areas for considerable period of time since your work or business is holding you to do so, BONIFACIO HIGH STREET is the perfect place for you to go.
