Strategic location is a very important consideration in any endeavor whether in venturing into a profitable business endeavor or in assuring victory in war. Being at the right place has an advantage. Presence and visibility are two of the most important positive resulting elements of putting an entity in the right place. This is also very significant in the projection of AIR POWER.
Philippine Air Force has eight Air Bases; two each for Northern Luzon and Southern Luzon and one each in Palawan, Metro Manila, Visayas and Mindanao. With the present dispute in the West Philippine Sea, do we have the strategic locations of our air bases?
