It was about 9 years ago when I last visited this restaurant since there are already many options where to dine within LUCENA CITY alone. Considering also that TAYABAS CITY and the town of PAGBILAO are just few kilometers away from the capital where there are also a number of nice restaurants.
But this restaurant is unique in many ways. It is where I tasted the best appetizer, the CHICKEN CHICHARON which is always sold out just like this recent visit.
LUISA & DAUGHTER RESTAURANT is located near QUEZON MEDICAL CENTER (QMC) along QUEZON AVENUE in LUCENA CITY. By public transport, it can be reached by riding a TRICYCLE from any part of LUCENA CITY or by JEEP from DIVERSION ROAD (LUCENA CITY) bound for BAYAN or CAPITOLYO. Just tell the driver that you are going to the said restaurant.
In the picture is the delicious CHICKEN in PANDAN LEAVES.
Aside from the relaxing ambiance, the restaurant has also available reading materials that you can scan and read while waiting for your orders.
Other interesting feature is the legend in the menu list. The ALL-TIME FAVORITE, BEST SELLER etc.
Although the RESTAURANT is a notable place to dine and relax after attending a mass or after a long JOURNEY, there is still a big room for improvement for the restaurant to be on top among the choices of place to eat in LUCENA CITY.
During my recent visit, there are just some suggestions that I need to mention for the restaurants to climb to my top restaurants in LUCENA CITY and QUEZON PROVINCE.
1. WAITERS or SERVERS should be more attentive. They should anticipate the need and call of the customers.
2. WAITERS or servers should know the available menu so that they can immediately tell the customers if it is not available upon order.
3. Facilities should be properly maintained. The light bulb at the comfort room was busted during my visit.
4. Handing the bill/receipt to the customer should be improved. It should be placed in a presentable container for a complete relaxing and satisfying dining experience.
