Greenbelt Malls: Belt of Balance to the Challenging AIM Journey and Suffocating Urban Life

GREENBELT is like a belt of 5 Shopping Malls hugging and keeping intact the captivating views and refreshing environs in the HEART of MAKATI CITY...

The 5 interconnected malls with variety of shops serve as GREAT WALL protecting the creatively-landscaped forest park in the middle...complemented by a chapel, offering one comprehensive stop shop...providing a complete community....and even a "home"!

Greenbelt is also connected to other equally popular Shopping Malls, the Glorietta Malls, SM City Makati, and Landmark.

Greenbelt became my "second home" almost everyday in the whole year of 2011...

Greenbelt is my comfort zone after a full day inside the case rooms at the Asian Institute of Management (AIM). It was really a challenging JOURNEY for me to hurdle the case discussions and other requirements to be able to complete the Master in Management degree for 12 long months...

At the start of that particular journey, I was just like a PMA Plebe (first year cadet) failing to appreciate the beauty of the environs of Baguio City since my mind and senses were completely preoccupied with the demanding and rigorous PHYSICAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL training. At AIM, even if the whole course only demands mental activities, but its complexities practically drained the whole body needed to be recharged to face the rest of the challenging days of the whole week inside the case rooms. Aside from the demand to discuss your solution to a particular problem or view on a certain issue, you have to read an average of 200 to 300 written documents a night. AIM is one among the very few schools in the world using the case method.

The proximity of the Greenbelt to AIM makes it the "Comfort Zone" after a full day battle in the case rooms. Greenbelt Malls offer comfortable environs whether in watching movies, satisfying food cravings, going for shopping, meeting loved ones and friends, and many other relaxing activities that will strike a balance to a stressful school day.

Coming back to the place in 2015 when I took up the BAHASA INDONESIA LANGUAGE COURSE in a nearby INDONESIAN EMBASSY for 10 Saturdays was a welcome homecoming.

That time I appreciated more and clearly seen the exquisite beauty, the lush greens...fully appreciating the amazing landscapes and creatively-designed structures...certainly work of ART, built with PASSION!

Taking the language course in the heart of Makati City which is not as challenging as the life at AIM, I enjoyed more the "homecoming" in the BELT OF GREEN.

It is certainly not only a belt, but an entire clothing in GREEN...relaxes the tired senses, comforts the heavy hearts, and recharges the weary bodies...

Completely refreshing environs...a "home" away from home...in the middle of the busy streets of Central Business District of Makati City...

GREENBELT is highly accessible both for PUBLIC and PRIVATE TRANSPORTATION.

By public transport, take the MRT and alight at the AYALA STATION. Enter the SM MAKATI, then pass by GLORIETA and LANDMARK to reach GREENBELT MALLS. By bus, take any bus along EDSA passing by or crossing AYALA AVENUE and alight at AYALA AVENUE.

How about you, what is your inspiring story about GREENBELT Malls?
