People from BICOL REGION is called BICOLANO or BICOLANA.

MAGAYON is the bicol term for BEAUTIFUL which is the origin of the word MAYON.

But there are other festivals being celebrated in BICOL such as the IBALONG FESTIVAL in LEGAZPI, KADAGATAN FESTIVAL in ALBAY, the MAGAYON FESTIVAL in admiration of the beautiful MAYON VOLCANO, the PAGSUWAK FESTIVAL in GUINOBATAN, ALBAY, the RODEO MASBATENO in MASBATE CITY, the SARUNG BANGGI FESTIVAL in STO.
