PETRONAS: World's Tallest Twin Towers

"WHAT THE MIND CAN CONCEIVE,
THE BODY CAN ACHIEVE"

I dreamed about it...I claimed that it would become a reality...

Landmark that captured the attention of the whole world...

In April of 2014, the dream was completely transformed into reality when I finally had the privilege of visiting KUALA LUMPUR City, the capital of MALAYSIA and the location of the PETRONAS TWIN TOWERS...
the WORLD'S TALLEST TWIN TOWERS!

At 452 meters, PETRONAS TWIN TOWERS were the TALLEST BUILDINGS in the WORLD from 1998 to 2004 until many other countries built taller buildings.

It took 7 years to construct the twin towers.
The total cost is US $ 5.6 Billion.
It has 88 floors.
It was designed by the Argentine Architect Cesar Pelli.

The PETRONAS TWIN TOWERS are currently at 9th and 10th TALLEST BUILDINGS in the WORLD
and still the TALLEST TWIN TOWERS.

The trip to Kuala Lumpur City was actually part of itinerary during our weekend tours to different interesting places in Malaysia when I was luckily selected to attend the UNITED NATION STAFF OFFICER COURSE in PORT DICKSON, MALAYSIA for 3 weeks...

It was during the second weekend when the exciting trip finally came...
The AMAZING PETRONAS TWIN TOWERS finally unfolded before
my very eyes!!!
The concrete evidence that I finally arrived at KUALA LUMPUR CITY, the HOME of the
PETRONAS TWIN TOWERS!!!

Certainly, I will go back one day to explore and discover more about  PETRONAS TWIN TOWERS and also to uncover more of KUALA LUMPUR CITY!!!

Terima Kasih!!!
