I took some pictures of the SABANG BEACH in May of 2013 during our EDUCATIONAL TOUR in the province of PALAWAN particularly PUERTO PRINCESA City. This particular trip was actually my 8th time in SABANG BEACH. My first was in February of 1996 wherein during that time, the travel time from the city proper to Sabang beach is about 4 to 5 hours due to rough roads, but at present the travel time is about 1 and a half hours due to the highly improved condition of roads.
SABANG BEACH is actually the GATEWAY to the PUERTO PRINCESA SUBTERRANEAN RIVER, the WORLD'S LONGEST RIVER and 1 of the 7 NEW WONDERS of the WORLD...
From SABANG BEACH, there are 2 options going to the UNDERGROUND RIVER, by small boat or by trekking a challenging trail...
